Andijan Regional Infectious Diseases Hospital

The Andijan Regional Infectious Diseases Hospital was commissioned in 1982. Address: Andijan, Yusuf Atabekov Street 5. Built on a project basis for the treatment of all types of infectious diseases. The hospital has 220 beds, of which 80 are for adults, 140 for children and 9 for intensive care. The hospital underwent a major overhaul following the President's visit in 2017. The administrative building of the hospital is being renovated. Shukrilla Ergashboyevich Solizhonov was appointed chief physician by order of the Minister of Health No. -74-K dated February 26, 2021. The hospital has a fiber optic internet connection for video conferencing.

Modern medical equipment is imported from Germany, South Korea and Russia, all checks are carried out. Patient care is based on international standards. Since 2019, a hepatocenter has been operating in our hospital. It is an important program for the early detection and uncomplicated treatment of viral hepatitis. PSR equipment, ELISA tests, general and biochemical analysis of blood and urine, coagulogram analysis. There are ultrasound, X-ray and fibroscan machines. District doctors and nurses in charge of the district infectious diseases departments, monthly travel to the districts to study the activities of the department, organize work, and perform the planned work. Patients in need of qualified medical care are selected and sent to the Republican Scientific Center for directions.
